Why vote for Mark?
Mark is a native North Carolinian whose family goes back generations in our great state and he believes those that forget their past are doomed to repeat it. Sitting on the sidelines and watching government grow in ways that are in direct contrast to our nation’s founding ideals is no longer an option.
Charlotte and North Carolina have been very good to him and his family and he is running for state Senate because he feels a duty to give back as a public servant who treats it as a service to his fellow citizens rather than as a career path. It’s time for something NEW and Mark believes his unbridled optimism mixed with a history of taking action is the recipe to get our community back on track and return Charlotte to being that “shining city on a hill” when it comes to working with OUR state government!
